How FieldTime works

1

Sign in and explore your dashboard

Log in with your work email. Your dashboard shows pending timesheets, open compliance findings, and any entries that need your attention.
2

Track time on your projects

Non-exempt employees clock in and out using the Punch Clock. Exempt employees enter hours directly on the Manual Entry screen. Both screens let you assign time to a specific project, phase, task, and labor classification.
3

Submit your weekly timesheet

At the end of the week, review your time entries and submit your timesheet. FieldTime checks your hours against California overtime and meal-break rules before submission.
4

Timesheets move through approval

Submitted timesheets flow through your Project Manager, then your Supervisor, and finally Payroll—each step leaving a full audit trail.
FieldTime automatically syncs employee records, projects, phases, and tasks from Deltek Vantagepoint, so your project data is always up to date without manual entry.
